Apna Punjabi Dhaba

Despite the cold weather that’s outside on an early November afternoon. Me , my wife and 3 toddlers went for a walk from TA to this food truck. We ordered a lamb biriany , a butter chicken masala , a paneer with some great tasty kefir mixed with sour cream (I believe)… it’s tasting amazingly delicious. Oh we also ordered 2 cups of their Indian tea. After being here for another 2 hours I’m going to order another paneer and kefir or yougurt ( don’t know what it because we weren’t told we’ll get). We all loved these foods . Especially our 1 year old son loved so much the butter chicken sauce and the chicken cause it wasn’t spicy… great job to the cooks .

Mixed feelings here. The texture and overall flavor were good , but unnecessarily sweet. This may just be a personal preference thing, but it seemed like it was Americanized Punjabi food. , I would recommend a focus more on seasoning and less on the use of butter and sweeteners. We ordered the chicken tikka masala, and the Shahi paneer and the spice levels were exactly what we ordered, The Samosas chat was awesome! I ordered this spicy and it came out just right and the flavors were perfect. The staff was helpful on the phone and friendly, and the wait was not long.

This food truck is parked along the street that is in back of the Safeway parking lot. This food truck has two round tables adjacent to it, but no chairs. We ordered one order of chicken tiikka masala and roti. The food took 20 minutes to cook. One order was enough to split between two women. The food was tasty. If I was in the area again, I would come back.

Food is made fresh and served hot. High quality, generous portions, and good price. Rice was fluffy. The chicken curry is some of the best I've ever had. Creamy and bursting with flavor. If I could eat this kind of food every day I would be so healthy! LOL

Wow that's good. It's priced fairly. The operators were super friendly. Home made food in under 20 min. The food truck is parked right between a pilot and speedway truck stop. Perfect time to fuel up. Don't ask for spicy if you can't handle it. They aren't playing around with the spice or the flavor. If I'm ever back here I WILL be stopping by. Thank you for the great food!
